BB: $1.16
UTG: $3.16
UTG+1: $2.05
MP1: $1.91
MP2: $0.67
Hero (CO): $2.00
BTN: $3.39
SB: $0.93

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is CO with K  A
UTG calls $0.02, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.08, 2 folds, BB calls $0.06, UTG calls $0.06

Flop: ($0.25) 2 :spade: A :diamond: 2 :club: (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $0.24, BB calls $0.24, UTG folds

Turn: ($0.73) 8  (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.22, BB raises to $0.84 all in, Hero folds

Villain is 89 / 41 / 1.1 (37 hands)

1. Flop bet too big? These guys love calling (the other one was 60 / 4 / 1.1 over 107 hands) so I thought why not pot sized bet :D
2. On the turn - I bet small since he snapcalled the flop and I started thinking he has me beat (normally they think for few seconds and then call) so wanted to see how this develops. Every time I called something like this I got killed. He has to have a 2 or even 28 in the hand, right? :( No way he lumps on 2 pairs with his low AF and my betting?

he has so little money left just bet/call the turn, if he snap calls flop then if anything id think hes less likely to have a 2 cause he'd atleast consider raising with it even if he'd just call. But all in all, i'm not bothered when he has a 2 here and beats us because he is so bad that he is also going to have plenty of worse aces to make me super happy about bet calling here, so yeah think you made a bad fold this time!

Argh, I was afraid you might say that :D calling this sort of stuff is massively damaging for my profits so I kind of stopped doing it but after I thought about it some more I started doubting myself here.

Calling here is not damaging your profits :) its a very profitable call im sure, calling raises and all ins is often very damaging for your profits i agree, but definitely not this one vs a guy like this on such a dry board where he can take this with many more hands we beat than hands that beat us - unlike if we bet AK on KQ3 flop then we bet a T turn and villain shoves all in over us and he is a 50/5 or something.

Cant lay this down ever. As acky says, hes doing this with worse often enough to make up for when he has us beat.

Damn. I looked at my HHs and by far the biggest -EV decision that I usually made was calling All In on the river, followed by calling All In on the turn.

I need to think a bit better when facing these decisions it seems.
