MP1: $2.69
MP2: $1.35
Hero (CO): $2.24
BTN: $1.94
SB: $1.02
BB: $1.48
UTG: $1.60
UTG+1: $1.17

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is CO with J Q
UTG calls $0.02, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.08, 3 folds, UTG calls $0.06

Flop: ($0.19) J Q T (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $0.18, UTG raises to $1.52 all in, Hero folds

Not the same guy as in Part 1  I don't have exact stats but low AF again. I folded since I figured he has flopped a flush or a straight and my 2 pairs can't take the heat here.

1. Am I an idiot to keep cbetting these type of hands?

Fun fact: This and part I happened on 2 separate tables, 1 hand apart. After that I quit and went on the forum to post these 2 threads and see what happened here :D

You were begging for a re raise with such a small raise on an action packed flop like that. Plus that is a very draw heavy board so fold is your play I feel like you should have just checked to have avoided losing the amount of your raise

But pot sized bet is standard and not too small, no?

My logic was that I have to do something here, if I check they bet I fold... at least this way I fold a beaten hand :p Or is it best to just surrender this type of hand every time?

for me you should have checked first, if he makes a small bet, you can repush, otherwise you maybe get a new card or can easily fold an all inn

no..

- its 2nl
- everyone at 2nl's bad
- he's clearly a retard
- you have outs when you're behind + he shoves with so much worse
- you have 2 pair
- you have 2 pair

Two pairs are getting me annihilated every time when people bet into me. Sets, full houses, straights, flushes, even quads you name it... total destruction. Often even if I bet and they just call they are sitting on a set or better or they get a river completion on the draw after calling pot sizes bets all the way.

For example:

I won a 5$ ticket for ring games 2 days ago, proceeded to cash 1,7$ of profits before running into a 24-hour humiliation conga... funnily enough HM2 autotagged me as "ABC player" during this time (meaning I probably wasn't doing anything too stupid/crazy) but I still lost the entire 5$ ticket.

2 pairs had like 0% winrate and were massive losers.

Pocket pairs were also massive losers (win small pots, lose big ones):
AA - either everybody folded preflop (once when I was in BB, never even got the turn to act) or they got cracked by random crap
KK - same
QQ - opponent flopped a full house (47o after cooly calling the preflop action) and waited passively, luckily I didn't lose much here since I was already paranoid :D
JJ - run into KK
TT - I raise preflop from cutoff/button and then BB lumps AllIn. Fold. TWICE.

Biggest whale EVER (75% VPIP, low aggression but random when he bets) lost around 7,5$ during that period but was net ahead vs. me... every time I got something good he folded, other times outdrew me or flopped crazy unpredictable stuff when I had something juicy myself... Lets say flop is 5-7-9 rainbow, I have pocket 9s, he has 86o after withstanding preflop raising. Unreal stuff.

I know that this is all normal but 2 pairs on this board... I don't think so :p They are idiots but when they lump it is with a reason.

P.S. After all those losses I earned it all back today when normal play resumed, so no harm done and it was a lesson of sorts.

This is 100% a c-bet and 100% a call.

^^ thankyou.

p.s. also I approve of your avatar.

LD post more 2 pair spots, because if 2 pair is losing you money.. there's a problem.

Sure, I will first try to review them myself and see which ones were the worst.

Thing is, if you are paranoid enough almost any flop with 2 pairs has a potentially better hand hidden inside if we consider the opponents can have any cards.

In my case it just so happened that they almost always had EXACTLY those that were the worst. Sets are most common, and if they play pocket pairs passively preflop then I can't figure out they have a set until I get raised (IF I get raised and they are not doing the spider thing). Draws are 2nd most common, there is always something somebody is drawing to regardless of the price.

I know all this is long term profitable for me in theory, but when you have 17 buyins in the account then losing 5 hurts a lot and there is no lower level to drop to :D

Check out the link above, Poker Stove says I am 80% fav but I still got stacked by an imbecile. Until I get a much bigger bankroll this kind of stuff is gonna hurt, there is no help there :(

learn to hand read. in general when you have 2 pair you're very unlikely to be beaten, since you have blockers to villains sets etc.

granted boards like the ones above give villains more ways of being ahead but the all h board will make it more likely he overplays something like AQ/KQ/Ahx etc.

its ok, eventually this stuff becomes 2nd nature.

PM me any hands you want analysing, I'm on here way too much anyway.
