I definitely miss played this hand. Now I think that a 4bet is better than a Call on Preflop, but I'm completely lost on Flop. What do you guys think that I should have done?

I am kind of surprised Villian called turn raise with ace high and a 30BB raise. But micros anything can happen and compared to pot.... Big raise on the lop instead of the turn and maybe a different result?

It may be over analysisng for me but if your willing to reraise on the turn then you could've fired on the flop but who knws if he would have folded at micro levels. May have just chased the J!

Pre A4s is simply a fold against an unknown at the micros. A good portion of the population only 3bets QQ+, AK and another sizable portion 3bets many different hands they shouldnt be 3betting, but don't fold to 4bets like they should either. More often than not they stack off with middle and low pps, maybe you've seen it. In both situations raising A4 is -ev.

Now, it's a great hand to bluff with against a good player that we know can fold when he has to, but we simply always assume villain is really bad until proved otherwise at the micros.

Flop is good, we could also raise if we have stats on villain telling us he can fold

Turn is a fold, our raise is too small to generate any decent fold equity, and we don't have the pot odds to call.

Pre-flop the pot is to big already and the stacks are not deep enough to make this call. Just fold pre-flop.

On the flop I would raise all in. You should have sufficient fold equity and your raise is a pot size raise.

You decide to raise on the turn, but that gives him such great pot odds (only 30 BB more in a 150 BB pot) that he should call with almost any hand.

i see that a lot in micros u will not get a fold easily people dont fold AQ+ and JJ+ what ever the board is. that's why i play draws slow, u will get paid even if u hit on the river just bet big if they have some they will pay u.
