I think you have to call once you get to the river. As played I think I fold turn. You're probably beat here with some stupid hand, or he has like AsQx but hard to say without info

Yeah once the king flops and being oop I should have folded.

You were IP any way i think calling the flop is a must. Prob fold to the double barrel on the turn though.

I think calling the flop with the intention of folding to a turn bet is fine. Not sure that calling turn doesn't become better though when it's a good card for you (like it was) and he bets super small (like he did).

I agree with WVH. I don't really like it, but I think in game I'd just call down like you did. Also turn on Auto-Rebuy to load you up to 100bbs everytime.

you're playing nl2... play straight forward
I wouldn't make this play, okay even if he's just cbetting the turn with AQ AJ in a rly uncoordinated board would he still bet 2 streets?+ he's bet's look all searching for value...
hands in his range you were beating on the:

FLOP:
44's-88's + AT-AQ (but just a c-bet not alot of info yet)

TURN:
55's-88's + AT-AQ(think they would look for a free card) and he's still betting(I would certainly fold here)

RIVER:
55's-88's + AJ-AQ (Alot of broadways just got there plus KT it's even stronger, and AQ AJ plus the 55's-88's are just checking to look for a showdown)(He's river bet he's clearly looking for value) (As played def folding the river imo)
