First of all if you are playing without a HUD than you should get one. If you play only a table or 2 and you watched a little your opponents I think you can pick some info.
1. First hand villain looks like is bad passive player. Knowing the result you posted makes me think that he was that kind of player. You cannot play on autopilot. You should had known that before going into the hand.
If he is indeed as passive as I said I would still probably shoved the turn because he has such a small stack and there are not many hands that he could had that beat me but there are a lot of hands that I beat. The fact that he camed out with the top of his range is irrelevant. I think he would had done the same with AJ,AT,A9 etc giving the fact that he does not have too much of a stack behind.
2. Second hand is the same thing. Probabely a bad passive player .
Again the bad player comes with a hand from the top of his range and again not much you can do there. HE has such a tiny stack that you simply cannot fold the river.

Overall the first 2 hands I do not see too many mistakes.

3. The hand that you really played bad is the third hand.
You need to 3-bet preflop huge. The fact that you called with AK from SB a miniraise preflop is your first huge mistake in this hand. You hit TPTK and you find yourself in a situation where you had to extract value OOP. So you bet bet bet and find yourself with the villain shoving the river while nothing on the board had improved since the flop. But here is the thing. You are n beating nothing on that board. No one is going all in with a hand like K9 or 1010 or Q10. You called 65 BBs with only top pair witch is a mistake.

Thanks for your reply :)
I got Poker Tracker a couple of weeks ago - I'm still getting used to consulting my HUD when making decisions. Also, playing on a Mac it won't display if I'm playing Zoom which is a pain.

On the third hand, as he just called PF I didn't think he had JJ+ so I wasn't worried about a set - I was more worried about whether he'd hit two pair, playing QJ or KQ. The possibility of the straight occurred to me - but I didn't give him credit for it as he would have had to have flopped it which I thought would have been very lucky. Add to that the fact that had a 10 hit I would have made the straight, was why I continued betting. By the river nothing had really changed as you said, so as neither hand had most likely changed I hoped I was still good.
I think I needed to give more credit to his river shove though, as you pointed out.
Thanks again :)

Buying a HUD for 2NL isn't necessary. I played without one until 25NL.

Hand 3, you need to check somewhere. That board is wet as hell, and we do NOT want to play a big pot with TPTK here. Definitely fold when you're raised on the river.

General comment: You're raising the recommended amount, but you're playing 2NL. Raise WAY more preflop, because those fish will call with pretty much anything.

First, don't post results when you make one of these or everyone will be results oriented. (I would of folded a boat in that spot 100% of the time!!!) Is not very helpful.

2nd, try not to get stacks in with just a pair(sometimes you got to) Small hand, small pot and TPTK is a small hand.

Thanks for the replies everyone :) I will definitely try to be more careful with TPTK in future. Give credit to the raise and wait for a better spot!
