This was my worst hand of that session. Mainly because I realise that my play right here is exactly the reason that regs say that 2NL is easy. Because you just take the fish to valuetown. Well I'm the idiot that knows it but still could not fold and someone took me to valuetown ;) .

My main questions are:

-What did you think of my preflop call? I just called because I didn't want to 3Bet (I don't think KQ should since it can't stand a 4bet) and because there was a fish involved.

-OTF: How would you read a board like that? How can I interpretate his stats with his actions on this board?

-OTR: I know that calling here is worst thing ever since an Ace is definitely in his range.

-Psychological: Any advice on making it easier for yourself to fold even though you don't really want to?

I guess you are thinking about re-raise, you couldn't 3bet, where was no 2bet before you, you meant raise up to 3 bb or raise up to 4bb amount.
It's was OK to call it, 0.04 is not expensive for KQ.
He was A (even A of spades) 80% i my guess, flop was not good for you, spades 20%, even you queen is problem, lot of hands dominate you, QQ, QK(spades), QA, Q with any pair on board.
Helpful advise: Click on fold button, and momentarily just stand up and go to toiler and drink water, and run back, its your time to play NEXT hand, tell your self there will always be a NEXT hand! and NEXT and a NEXT and NEXT, nothing is ever lost! good luck

The key decision needs to be made Preflop to avoid getting into spots like this.
You are asking for trouble against a player as tight as 11/8, you will be dominated too often if you hit top pair to make it worth while. So fold preflop to this player type.
You call call all day against looser players with this hand.

As played its not the worst call if you think he could bluff a missed flush draw. Sometimes you will be good here against a looser player but that is why you are calling,,,to pick off a bluff with your bluff catcher not because you think 2nd pair might be good against this player otherwise.

Start thinking about his cards rather than just yours and give him a range of hands based on his stats.
11/8 is really quite tight/nitty so there will be a lot of aces in his range, in fact at least half of his hands will have aces and a quarter of those are going to have either the ace or king of spades.
So when the ace arrives on the end you are certain to be beaten half the time just by an ace. You will also be already beaten by AQ (6 combos) KK (3 combos) AA (3 combos) and any flopped flushes AKs AQs AJs ATs A9s are all in his range.

Remember this as a guide....."Don't get stacked with 1 pair"......

Once someone is sticking all their chips in the middle 1 pair is nearly always beat especially so when you don't have top kicker.

You should only ever call against total beginners who are overvaluing top pair bad kicker or 2nd pair or maniacs bluffing.
Here the villain is tight you have no reason to think you are good, so as played fold the river and pat yourself on the back for saving money

i guess you just need to asking what do i beat more often. if the only thing you beat that they are betting is a bluff then you have to know who you are calling. you cant just call everyone off and hope they are bluffing. i made similar mistakes in my first few years of poker. gl in the future :)
