Call to keep in the SB, maximize implied odds. Shipping is pretty bad here.

i dont mind shoving here. first of all because we are going to get it in anyways. secondly because i figure there is a small possibility that we might get a fold since our hand is not made yet. if we dont ship we allow him to ship on the turn and we lose fold equity. am i wrong?

(im not too good at calculating fold equity. correct me if im totally wrong here.)

I really didn't see calling as an option with such small stacks. I mean we'd have half our stack in the pot going into the turn. Figured my only options were ship or fold and folding didn't look too appealing.

You are not wrong, we have no fold equity if we call twice. However, we have very little fold equity to begin with. Villain donked a pot sized bet into 2 other players, and will be getting 2.5:1 if we shove over his bet. He's got a hand he's willing to go down with. Shoving the flop is great when you have fold equity, but in this case you have none.

Also, it doesn't matter if we call or if all the money goes in on the flop. The EV is the same. However, if we call, sometimes the SB will come along. It's a huge EV win if he does.

I prefer calling for keeping the SB in and potentially getting bluffs to shove turn as I don't think we ever fold worse out with a shove.

Neither option is bad.

Not sure why we need much FE when we're ahead of all but nut hands and A7 (which we're flipping with).

Don't mind either option here but flatting prob yields best results because of the sb.
