Do not bother with bad beats like this. I myself i am 10 times more upset when i loose my stack with AA against a set betting for value and being unable to determine that he villan has set. Sets vs quads ? How often is this happening? JJ vs 99 is a classic bad beat but it is a lot of money on the long run. I lost yesterday with AA against KK and K10s. First card i saw was the 4th K. I did not get upset. I played perfectly. All the money in the middle preflop, i 4bet, fish shoved , reg shoved i called with Aces. On the long run i will make a fortune with this move. Not being able to determine when the opponent has a set while i hold AA will make me loose a lot more money.
So do not be upset when someone bad beats you with 2% odds
. It is not happening that often. 98% of the time they will put their money in with trips while you hold a FH and that is pure gold.
