One opponent has just joined the table and posted the blind so that they can play immediately, so I have no reads on them. The opponent in the SB is 54/6 and my notes simply say "calling station", and colour-coded as "want this player to my right at the table".

Poker Stars - $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em (9 players)
Poker Stars Hand Converter Tool from CardsChat.com

SB: $1.37
BB: $0.80
UTG: $5.13
UTG+1: $4.91
MP: $1.60
MP+1: $0.39
MP+2: $5.13
CO: $0.94
BTN Hero: $7.41

Pre-flop: ($0.05) Hero is BTN and dealt :ah4: :kh4:
2 folds, MP checks, 3 folds

So presumably I am doing the standard "4BB + 1BB per limper" at this point, i.e. 10c?

With mp1 autoposting BB you have a read on him already imo:

"Likes to throw away 1 BB when sitting down" = probably not good

If SB is a station anyway I think you can bet 0.15 here (fold to cbet for sb ?)

I just make it standard $0.10. Do you really think a calling station is calling $0.15 pre. Occasonialy I run a tlike 50/15 when I fancy playing a bit loose. When I'm playing like that I don't call $0.15 pre when I have to play the rest of the hand OOP. Do we have any reads that makes us think he's calling a 7.5XBB? If we don't just play as standard and value town if an A or K hits.

You'd make it 15 then most likely get no action?

Do a little dance and RAISE! I'd make it a little smaller than usual ONLY because both remaining villains are less than full stacks. Against full stacks I'd make it 60c, here 45-50c. If called stick the rest in on any turn card.

Pot is $1.50 and the largest stack has $1.10 left, so bet $1.10.

This hand just went from good to fist pump time. Nut flush against a calling station and a guy who donk bets into you and posts dead blinds.

Raise like $1.20 to place them both all in. or if you don't think they'll get it all in on turn just try and get some value with a smaller bet on turn and try and place them all in on river.

DON'T DO THIS! If a 4th heart hits on the river you are very likely to lose action. Put them AI on the turn.

Actually I didn't need to raise - because one of the villains did it for me! :D Love playing cash games at weekends :) Anyway the point of the thread is bet sizing, I should definitely have bet more post-flop and possibly I should have bet a little more pre-flop, too.

Did you make any notes on your opponent's play? I'd certainly note that MP called a flop raise with 2PNK and shoved a scary turn. That's the kind of info that's great to have when you you're facing a bet from this guy and you don't hold the nuts on a "scary" board.

Yes, I make loads and loads of notes. Since I've been multi-tabling they've had to become highly abbreviated, but as you said they can be really useful sometimes in tight spots.
