Good size raise pre, probably should shove the flop, but with them both having less than 10c behind, don't suppose it really matters. So yeah think it's played fine just nature of playing 2NL that people are going to call 3 bets with A3.

3bet larger preflop

How much? I read somewhere that generic 3bet should be 3x the original rise? I wanted to add another 1x rise cos there were two players and make it 24 but by mistake I just pressed 20. Anyway, how much would you have 3bet?

I read that as well Ainars, but you got to remember the lower you raise the more action you will get... And we allow ppl set mining you in.

Just remember we are OOP so raising higher pre is more justified. Plus it takes the power of position away.

And we are jamming most flops because of our preflop action. PPL with any ace will call you and occasionally we will run into sets or 2pairs but we shouldn't be too worried.

Yes, the general rule of thumb for 3betting is 3x the original raise. However that is a very fluid rule of thumb. You will need to adjust based on things like the number of people already in the pot, number of people to act behind you, stack sizes, and other table dynamics. Personally, I usually approach it about like you did. I will raise 3x the original raise plus 1x for each player who has already called. so in this case it would have been 4x.

Here's my take on this.

When you're willing to go all the way, why not re-raise on the flop. Whether you call $0.61 or re-raise here, you got to pay $0.69/$0.71, which hardly makes any difference($0.08/$0.10) in such a huge pot.
