New player here. I am wondering how risky it is to stay in the pot in this scenario and if I should've folded at some point instead. Thanks.

SB could be raising pre with any Ax, so you're ahead of his range to start. Flop call seems good to me. After the turn bet I'd start getting worried, I would think he'd slow down with A and a lower kicker, or with a pocket pair or Kx hand. I doubt QQ or an A worse than yours would bet all the streets like that, it seems strong. Of hands he plays this way, you beat A10, lose to AK, AQ, and set of 10's, K's or A's. I'd be surprised if you win this hand, I'd fold the river despite the fact you made 2 pair.

Are you playing with a hud? It seems like if you knew the players stats you could make a better judgement. AJ is a tricky hand. When villain bets this river somewhat smallish, he is rarely bluffing. I think you have to fold.

Thank you for your input. 16clumsyandshy: I just ran out of free trial of Holdem Manager, I can't afford to buy it. Gerb: Indeed I feel like I got blinded by emotions when I landed J on river, I didn't even care to notice that board was 1 off straight. I'm very new player and I appreciate hearing your comments a lot.

There is a free HUD program called FPDB (free poker database). It doesn't have as many features as HEM or poker tracker, but it's better than having nothing. If you want to play cash, your best chance of success will come with regular HUD use.

Naaah. In the micro limits players play AX without thinking about the kicker unless you see someone knees better. You maybe beat here but usually you have them crushed

He bet large on river compared to previous streets, probably hit hits straight. You can still call though and sometimes win, long term folding is better.
