Even an aggressive player from time to time can have a decent hand.

On the river, you know he will not go away whatever bet you make. I just thought you are beat here.

bet more on turn. if he has an ace he isn't going anywhere. river he almost always has the ace. what else would he be raising with? you should generally give river raises a lot of credit since if you call them with a medium strength hand such as top pair top kicker you almost always will run into two pair or better. also since he called a flop and turn bet on such a dry A high board his most likely hand is an ace. i would probably check with the intention of folding on this river, since it is the worst river in the deck for you.

I think it doesn't really matter what you bet on the turn, I don't think this opponent is leaving this hand at 2nl. The river was a bad luck card for you and you should fold to save whatever money you can at this point IMO.

but we don't want him to leave his hand. we WANT him to call on the turn. the point is that if he has an ace then he's almost certainly gonna pay up 2 large bets on the turn or river no matter what card comes (the ace will hit only about 4% of the time), so we might as well make him pay. you could even consider overbetting the turn. it's a +EV situation for us. Betting on the river when the ace comes and then calling a raise is definitely a -EV play however.

Why would you play such a hand like :kc4::8s4: like the way you did by raising pre flop out of position and barreling three streets ??

Just take a free flop and play post flop .. Give up if villain bets more than one street ... You are just complicating and making things difficult for yourself by playing it the way you did. Some times just keep it simple !! :)
