you might be able to get him to fold with continued aggression, repping an overpair, but it isn't likely. And with this many people in the hand preflop you run into a greater risk of someone hitting a monster in the flop (set, 2pair, straight.) and you running dead or nearly dead already.
with this many people cbetting doesn't work often enough to be profitable.
get a feel for how sticky your table is so the bet size can price one or two in and not half the table when you are dealt two good cards. It takes a little guess and check. At lower limits this will usually mean your preflop raises need to be higher than normal, sometimes much higher. For instance, in .05/.10 right now, fairly often my preflop raises are 4-6BB simply because if i do less people will jump in with almost anything.
