In the same situation after double flopcalling I consider that at least one of two callers has an ace and then check-fold on big bet.

You're either way ahead or way behind. No A is ever folding, so you want to get to showdown as cheaply as possible.

Given how this flop is 4-way, however, you might just want to check/fold.

Probably an Ace, but at micro stakes the blinds will defend with just about anything. If SB has 4c3c he's actually got 4:1 odds on the flop for the straight or flush. Your .20 bet with MP1 calling gave him 3:1 pot odds. It would not be a technically correct call for him, but also not an unlikely one either. In both cases (4c3c or Ax) he's going to be check/calling all of your bets.

That said he could also have been hanging around with a big pair. JJ or KK have you beat too. It's really not correct for him to be calling, but at micro stakes with the stack discrepancy (see below) you're going to be getting a lot of callers with most big pairs.

Personally, i'd have shut down after getting two callers on the flop.

However, the big thing to take away from this hand is that you started as the short (1/2 X) stack while SB started as the big (2X) stack. You're in a really bad position to be taken seriously with that sort of discrepancy. Your bets will get much more attention if you keep your stack size to the maximum (in this case $2) before each hand.

I'm fine c-betting this flop, as lots of lower pairs will call. I'm actually okay with the turn bet too, if you have a read that villain is a station.

If you check, you're giving two players a chance to draw out rather than 1, and you probably have to fold to a bet from a passive player. Here, we're getting 2:1 on our jam, probably get called by a wide variety of non-A hands, and likely limit the field to just 1 opponent.
