So what I'm finding in 2NL is people will always chase draws. I probably gave him good odds, but even when I do bet big to push them off, they always call. I didn't have enough hands on him so i dont know his stats.

*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to JDAmotoX [Jh Ac]
iovand86: folds
JDAmotoX: raises $0.04 to $0.06

FRoZisBacK10: calls $0.04
*** FLOP *** [As 6h 2s]
FRoZisBacK10: checks
JDAmotoX: bets $0.09
moros152rus: folds
FRoZisBacK10: calls $0.09
*** TURN *** [As 6h 2s] [Th]
FRoZisBacK10: checks
JDAmotoX: checks
*** RIVER *** [As 6h 2s Th] [5s]
FRoZisBacK10: bets $0.18
JDAmotoX: folds
Uncalled bet ($0.18) returned to FRoZisBacK10
FRoZisBacK10 collected $0.36 from pot
FRoZisBacK10: doesn't show hand

This is what went through my head.
He called my preflop raise, i put him on a loose call from pairs, face cards and suited connectors

flop comes and he calls very fast, i was thinking he was on a draw

I wasn't worried about turn card, but check because I feel he will call any bet and have a chance of hitting and putting me in a crap situation

river shows a crap card for me. He bets 0.18c into a 0.36c pot. I feel he bet a decent size to try and put me off and make me call.

Bet the turn. Checking through gives a free card. If he raises the turn, he has it. They hardly ever bluff-raise the turn in NL2.
If you check through (for pot control), be prepared to call any river bet, so...

As played, easy call.

By checking the turn, you make him believe that his A7 is good.

If you feel as though these players are chasing card draws why would you allow them a free draw on the turn. Always bet there with your ace jack to gain info and to control the pace.

If you're going to check the turn, then you have to be willing to call a river bet, because you could be inducing a bluff or a thin value bet from a weaker Ax hand. Preferably bet the turn though so that you can get more value from flush draws and gutshots. The best line here is: raise preflop, bet flop, bet turn, check/fold river.

Flop, bet bigger. 3/4 pot instead of 1/2.

Bet turn. 3/4 pot +/-.

As played, call river. His bet size is small, I think we may have the best hand. You under-repped your cards by checking turn, so V is betting river because he thinks you're weak (so he will bet a wider range).

Look at Bolded portion of your post above...

This is where we get value from. This is how we make money, by betting this turn card. Bet as much as you think he'll call with a hand we beat. If we get raised, we re-assess.
