1) Don't limp, raise. generally 3x
2) You have an overpair to the board and no guarantee that anyone is going to bet. You should be betting out.
3) Once he does raise, he has so little $$$ behind that shoving is fine

I actually do not mind the limp because you are short stacked (you should be playing deeper), but generally raising is better.

There is a flush draw on the board, you have a weak over pair and a gut shot straight draw, which is really not that strong. Check raising all in is to aggressive. Especially since you are giving better hands a good price to call & if you get called by worse, it will not be much worse. You will rarely win a hand on the flop like this, especially given stakes and stack sizes. Betting out is better. As played you are basically just gambling.

i think pocket Eights MP when everybody folds has to be raised then avoid those hands like J3 entering the pot, and then once you got the perfect flop with only lower cards you have to cbet to fold the villains, otherwise just fold preflop and avoid this tough decisions

Limping isn't the worst play anyone ever made, but can present solid reasons that make it the best option on this specific hand at this specific table? My guess is that you limped because you didn't want to fold or open-raise. This is seldom if ever enough reason to make limping the best choice.
