no, but why are you betting the river? You should be c/fing unless you have some kind of specific read other than he's loose.

The river bet was wrong and some sort of stupid attempt of not losing my money, but Im more interested in knowing about the call preflop and on the flop?
What do you mean by no?

Your murdered this hand from start to finish imo, just fold pre, min opening in EP with 9Ts is bad, calling the 3bet is bad, calling the flop bet is bad, calling the turn bet is bad, and leading out on the river is horrible.

Ok, fair enough. I'll try and tighten up preflop and of course not try to bluf against a loose player. And he did win with two pairs K,10

I think you'll find that if villain had KT, he had trips and a pair!

I LOVE playing suited connectors so my analysis might be semi-biased.
I don't mind deciding to go in pre-flop with it, but if you are gonna go in then you have to raise. Just calling from early position shows extreme weakness.
Post-flop you still look good, I mean you have 4 hearts and a gut shot straight draw. I don't mind check-calling there.
After the turn, the ten that comes up on the board is ultimately your worst possible card. Sure you get a pair, but theres no way a pair of 10s is good with this guy raising preflip and then betting post flop with king and queen on the board. The ten on the board also probably takes away the straight draw, because if a jack comes up on the river the opponent could've very well made a better straight with an ace. You still have a heart draw, but with 1 card to go it doesn't look good.
The opponent bets a lot on the turn, and I probably would've folded on the turn.

As soon as the T hit all you had was two tens with a draw to the sucker straight, or weak flush. With a K and a Q on board???

C'mon man. Think. Third pair or the sucker straight, or a weak flush?

Start trying to find reasons to fold rather than find reasons to call.

tbh, this is what I was gonna write earlier when I saw this thread but deemed it too harsh to a newer player.

but its completely right, so.. this ^^

Ditto.

Fold pre, fold pre, raise flop, c/f river.
When people donk out a river after the draw bricks it is horrendously obvious.

Sorry, he had QJ, not K10. It was me who had two pairs KK,1010. And I can see how terrible a play it was so thanks for the replies.
