Should we call the river bet here? The way hand got played it was apparent the BB had a pocket pair as well and if so a higher pocket was more likely then a lower one. But the BB is a loose player playing any 2 cards.

Note: For anyone familiar with my earlier posts I have added my stats as well. I am trying to play a tighter range however I find it difficult to keep VP and PF close without 3Betting more. Open to all advices!

Fold. It is a very unsatisfying answer since, "It's only 19 BBs more," but fold. You are only beating a bluff.

Why did you call 66 preflop? To hit trips, not try and win with them. The problem is the flop. You didn't follow your plan calling, twice. IMHO opinion you need to fold to the first raise. Failing that, the better play is to re-raise the first raise, prepared to fold to any future bets.

Well first preflop call is marginally ok, luckily for you bb is a fish who dont know how to SQZ, when mp called we have the odds to setmine.
Flop is okish to call i guess and river is most probably a bluff so im calling it to, yes we dont beat anything but his line dont make sence bxb is often not a strong hand specially half pot. Im saying call facing overcards, fishes love to try to bluff those kinda boards fh nutstr8, plus are we sure that he doesn't think that his kicker counts: D
Well that is not likely but im saying that calling 19 to win 57 is marginally ok cuz he need to bluff 1 in 3 times

I'm folding the flop, overpair or not, your beat his few bluffs, if I did happen to call this flop, I'm not folding the river.

Thanks guys! I called the flop bc these 2 particular players were playing a lot of hands with just any 2 cards, even 95s gave them a kick. And they always led out the flop regardless of hit/miss. But yea I actually wanted to set mine but the board texture was very weird.

Normally It would be a straight fold river but these players always take a stab at uncontested pots trying to win those small pots a big number of times. Problem is that I am only holding a bluff catcher and have a 3 to 1 so I'm break even if I get it right once in four.

With decent players I tend to give them the benefit but these loose fishes I find myself leaning towards calling
