3/4 to pot sized bet on each street. He surely has a weaker ace, AJ/AQ probably (unless he's a fish who's doing this with middle pair or TPWK, in that case you should have already noticed he's a fish though). You'll still get the same value out of that hand by betting bigger on every street.

Bigger on every street. After he calls the flop assume he has an Ace and go full pot on turn and river. He won't always have an Ace of course but he's unlikely to call any turn/river bet size without one and he won't fold to a PSB with one.

Yeah bad though process. If a passive villain raises then you worry until then he's just another calling station who is there to donate his stack.

obv. i was oop
You were IP.

With a hand like AK you're looking to hit a TPTK type hand, which is a hand that usually wins at SD. So you open to 5bb because calling stations are around and villain is just that. Fine.

You flop the nuts! Yes, it's the the absolute nuts, but you want to be treating it as such vs this villain until he makes it clear he's got you beat. So start shovelling the money in, hoping he has yet again called with a weakass ace OOP.

Flop, make it 18c, or 20c, w/e. Turn almost pot again. River, no checking it back allowed! BET!

Do you only remember the times when he hits his 3 outer with A6o? What about all those times you had a big draw and he called you down with A5o? Take his money, because the reason you don't call an UTG open with Arag is for this precise reason. Make him pay for his mistake.
