A little loose preflop with 2 guys on your left, but with a fish in the BB, I'm okay with it.

This isn't a bad flop to check back, it's kinda wet. But against a bad fishy player, I probably just c-bet it as well.

Raise to like $1 on the turn. You want to raise to an amount that allows you to get all 200 big blinds in on blank rivers. Your raise would put $2.09 in the pot and you have $2.69 behind on the river, so you'd have to over bet to get all the money in. If you make it $1 even, that makes it less of an over bet.

I don't think we can fold the river. Fishy players could totally have KQ type hands that do this. Certainly not happy about calling though.

exactly that, wasn't happy about calling, sure enough he had QT. I just figured the same AQ and KQ could do it,

I think you played the hand fine
Your getting roughly 2.1 on a call on the river, my read on opponent would be he flopped a pair of queens rivering a set which is the best outcome for you hand getting max value. I would call unless opponent showed over aggression on the flop, if opponent flops 2 pair on a flush draw board surely he would re raise you trying to get off any flush draws?

You can play as good as you can but some hands we are just destined to loose.
