Pre Flop: (pot: 3 BB) Hero has Ah Kc
Hero raises to 4 BB, MP raises to 7 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 21 BB, MP raises to 63 BB and is all-in, Hero?

What is the standard play here? I have trouble playing AK. Should I just have called his 3 bet or did I make the right play? Since he's a likely fish coming with almost half the starting stack I pretty much assumed he had a big pair or AK or maybe AQ.

Hero calls 42 BB

Flop : (129 BB, 2 players) 7c 9c 7d

Turn : (129 BB, 2 players) 6s

River : (129 BB, 2 players) 4d

Hero shows Ah Kc (One Pair, Sevens)
(Pre 44%, Flop 27%, Turn 14%)

MP shows Qh Qc (Two Pair, Queens and Sevens)
(Pre 56%, Flop 73%, Turn 86%)

MP wins 124.5 BB

do some work in equilab/pokerstove and look what % relates to hands ..

i.e 2% could bet TT+ or QQ+ and some AK combos
repeat for 3% 4% 5% 10% and you'll start top get an idea of how those hud stats relate to players ranges .With this guys small 3bet% over a decent sample its likely to be QQ+ and some AK . you tie with his AK , flip with his QQ and crushed by AA KK so overall you could find a nitty fold to his 3bet and reduce variance.
The trouble with folding to his 3bet is that it was only a min raise so could have been a misclick in which case his range could be wider

I'm folding ak to a 3-bet from MP, he knows your range is strong. But with a min 3-bet, I call and see a flop. It costs you 3 to win 12.5 BB and you'll hit 33% of the time otf. Not expecting to put my stack in facing 3 streets of agression though.

Usually I'd say this is fine but against a 2% 3bet we could flat pre. I'd typically reserve getting it in with AK vs villain with ~5%+ 3b
