Fish is 44/21/0.9

Pretty marginal spot however I feel like I could still value bet the turn and get called by flush draws with only one of them beating me. I prefer getting 2 bets in before the river so that I can easily check it back as well. Do you guys take the same line, or check the turn?

In retrospect he wouldn't donk the river with a missed flush draw. However if I feel like I can get called by worse and can most likely stop better hands value betting me on the river then is this line worth it?

I personally prefer checking the turn and betting the river. Against this type of villain he wont be drawing very often so betting the A on the turn may scare him off his likely worse hand. I think we get more value by checking turn and betting river.

Yeah I did think about whether I should bet/bet/check or bet/check/bet. If we check turn and he leads river this is a fold right?

I think there are fewer hands he can call on the river with that we beat, than on the turn. Hence my reasoning that the best line to take would be the one that extracts value from a larger range. If we check turn and bet river, we will only be called by a K or and A. I would say he calls the same range on the turn, except add all the flush draws and we have a much larger range that we beat than beats us. With the added liberty of being able to check back the river we can be fairly sure no bets go in on the 3rd street.

If flop was dry I probably would have taken bet/check/bet line.

Not neccessarily, by checking the turn we look considerably weaker. Also a lot of fish will donk the river small as a bluff if we check the turn.

We'll see what everyone thinks but thats my view.

Why would he not be drawing very often? He is a textbook definition of a passive fish and therefore will be calling down most of his flush/straight draws, even gut shots to the river.

Also I think you played the hand completely fine. Betting the turn gets weaker kings to call/draws. Betting the river looks more like a king/x type hand. At these stakes though, betting the turn is probably better as it gets all draws to call.

We have K8, there arent many worse kings! I think its thin value.

Also apart from the FD there arent really many possible draws. FD doesnt make up a big part of his range because hes a fish and will be calling with a lot of weak pairs.

bet flop bigger, i personally bet turn every time and river is probably a bit thin to bet, perhaps bet folding river if my kicker is higher

^This. Plenty of draws and probably some 9's to get value from on the turn. River's pretty thin when the FD gets there.

Not betting the turn would be a mistake. He's actually got a ton of FDs in his range and he'll call with all of them on the turn but fold them when he misses the river. I'd like to see a bigger bet on the flop and as a result a bigger bet on the turn but I definitely like bet/bet/check (I think a river bet is a bit too thin).
