I think I blew this, but if folding is the best option, when?

Hi. Given how aggressive the villain is (and the fact that he's sitting on a big stack and is probably feeling pretty good about how he's running) if it's me I don't fold here on any street as played. If he had continued to overbet or shoved turn or river than maybe that would be cause to stop and think. Given his wide opening range he could have any number of random queens or even second pair...and for some players at these stakes if they are up as much as they guy is they start splashing around with less than optimal holdings and bet sizes can get a little skewed in normally standard situations. If he had a 6 it's an unfortunate run-out, if he flopped/turned/rivered a set or some odd two pair so be it.

You could have played more aggressively on the flop with a re-raise, but if you thought you were ahead and he was aggressive enough to keep putting money in the pot I don't think it's really that bad to just call with a non-draw heavy board like that (though a lot of people will probably say the call/call/call line is way too passive).

If he were a tighter player it would be a different story ofc.

Ask yourself would you ever overbet lead this big with a value hand here?
Personally hardly ever, I'd have to have a set and be sure I was against AA/KK to even consider it. So it makes much more sense that this is just a straight bluff or semi bluff. That being the case when does the betting change from being a bluff to value? If you just call down you are essentially guessing so a probe raise is needed to clarify your situation and you can get away with probes at this stake level.
Calling so wide off his stats he will have all the small suited connectors here so he could easily still be drawing on the turn and or have 2 pair or a straight by the end.
Raising on the flop is high variance but the villain is likely sticking money in behind here so I don't want to fold him out or iso myself against sets on the flop.
So I think the best way to play this is to min raise the turn to around $1. If he is still drawing you are charging him extra. If he reraises there's his set and an easy fold.
The turn min raise should freeze all his bluffs and medium strength hands from betting the river. This is the best and cheapest way to get to showdown here. If he still bets the river it's an easy fold.

As played im fine.

What I don't like about raising flop is that if he is bluffing, or over-repping a weaker hand like QJ or QT, he will stop. Whereas if he is going to bet 3 streets with such a hand, we get the most value.

And if he has a hand better than mine, I minimize my losses.

So not sure I like raising.

On further thought, I think I like the line I took vs this LAG player.
