This hand came up in a session last week, while I was being sweated by figaroo2. We both were a bit lost in the hand when villain min-raised the turn.
Villain had been min-3-betting preflop on occasion with a variety of hands (strong PPs, weak suited Ax hands, suited connectors), and postflop his main weapon also seemed to be the min-raise when faced with a decent bet.
This made it rather hard for me to put him on an accurate range, so when the hand played out like this:

partypoker - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 104 BB (VPIP: 38.10, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 10.00, Hands: 22)
UTG: 156 BB (VPIP: 26.62, PFR: 20.14, 3Bet Preflop: 6.00, Hands: 142)
MP: 129.5 BB (VPIP: 37.23, PFR: 23.40, 3Bet Preflop: 10.00, Hands: 386)
Hero (CO): 147 BB
BTN: 29 BB (VPIP: 13.11, PFR: 11.48, 3Bet Preflop: 3.23, Hands: 124)
SB: 129.5 BB (VPIP: 49.66, PFR: 20.69, 3Bet Preflop: 9.84, Hands: 152)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K♠ A♠

fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, SB calls 2.5 BB, fold

Flop: (7 BB, 2 players) K 8 9
SB checks, Hero bets 7 BB, SB calls 7 BB

Turn: (21 BB, 2 players) 6
SB checks, Hero bets 20 BB, SB raises to 40 BB, Hero calls 20 BB

River: (101 BB, 2 players) A
SB bets 79.5 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 79.5 BB

On the turn, he could have been doing this with a made flush, or he could imo also have been doing this with a naked A or weaker K. Maybe an offsuit K with the Q? Or does he have something else in his range here?

It was a difficult spot but the min-raise feels so ridiculous that I had to call.

On the river we improve to beat practically everything that's not a flush, but he's still repping the flush.
On the other hand, this guy was reasonably aggro, so maybe he had the lone A and/or rivered a two-pair, thinking to extract value from our hand (that doesn't look like a made flush)?

I'm wondering what range I'm supposed to be putting him on here, both on the turn and on the river, and if I should have done anything differently in the hand.

if we call turn we must call river. But it is not obvious for me that we should call on turn. Tough spot for me

What a weird line...Maybe he hit a set on the turn or had 7 5? But to min raise on a flush draw after you double barrel makes so little sense unless he's got Ax clubs and felt they could extract a little more value. I think I'm folding the turn pretty comfortably and I can find a pretty easy fold on the river even though our hand improves. We're behind too many hands that they could have.

Fold to the turn check min-raise. You're looking at the nuts or close to it far too often in a spot like this. He's a bit of a donk, so it adds some probability he has a worse hand, but most of the time you'll be far behind. Especially when you bet that large on the turn.
