I can't shake the feeling that I should have like check/called here and caught bluffs or value bets with worse OPs or whatever rather than leading out -- and I don't feel too hot about calling the raise-shove either.

Was I ok here? or am I right and I just spewed?

I wouldve done the same. You are already committed once you cb the flop. His stack is so small that you have to call a shove. Also you should not bet the flop unless you are going to commit. He could have a ton of hands here, a shorty at 2nl could have Ax, any pair, 5x, 4x, who knows. KK vs his range is dominating. Dont feel bad, in the long run you will profit.
