U should know when some one raise to 9 BB on preflop should be like AK AQ TT+ etc. i get it that u bet on flop with a high but he call so u c-bet again with backdoor straight and flush draw by 28BB but i think it's too much for that draw.

If u play like this all the time u gonna lose your money (long term) because u play in 2NLHE they are not gonna fold easily.

It’s okay, but personally I would not CB that board, as played I would not barrel turn.

Pretty obviously, with this connected board u had marginal hand, so better check/fold river.

Why would you 3bet with such marginal starting hand?

Fold pre-flop unless deeper stacked or another player in the pot.

Agreed. Villain has some history on you. While you have position. Your starting hand does not warrant a a re-raise.

I probably call with A7s in position, even with the current stack differential between hero and villain with nut flush possible. That weak ace should make you nervous to start.

You got to know that Villain is going to Cbet the flop, at which point, fold. chasing that straight long-term is -ev.

I origanly 3 bet because he has folded 70% to 3 bets at that point was honestly expecting to just take the pot down pre. When he called I just c-bet in position. When he called and another diamond hit the board I semi-bluffed the turn obviously hoping to river the flush and take down a big pot. When he donked the river i thought he could do that with trips or two pair to try to get value out of his hand.
Thank you for the replies I apprecaite it.

Your rationale to 3B pre is fine. If he calls you have position.
However you have to ask yourself... what does your opponent thing you have that you are 3B with. TT+ AQo+, AJs+.. Just guessing but- I'd have to know the flow of the game and if y'all have history.

Now would you CB this board with this range? If your answer is I'd CB a big portion of this range, then what is his range to call your CB. After this happens, I'd tap the breaks and since he gave you the free card on the turn... take it. You played it aggressively and built a nice pot just didn't hit your draw..
