Preflop
Im dealt KQs (hearts) in SB. Cutoff opens, a call from Btn - I decide to 3bet to 9BB.
Both cutoff and btn calls.
Flop
3d 7c 9h
I CBET and both cut off and btn call.
Turn is 5h, giving me a flush draw.
I decide to check - both villains check through.
River is 10s
It checks through and cut off wins with 88

Should I have barrelled this turn?

Thanks guys :)

imho,i think you could have made him lay down the hand if you tripple barrel especially because it's a 3bet pot.i'm not that good with ranges, but the board does not help your 3bet range that much so the only thing you could pretend having is an overpair. i may be wrong, though.

I agree I could be playing overpairs this way. The board connects with their calling ranges - I just think in the long run this a negative EV play to triple barrell in a multiway pot. I think its line ball. I definately think im behind on the turn so the only way I win is with fold equity.

I would have made it 15bb. You have a reasonable hand but in the worst position so just winning the opens and blinds preflop here is fine.If you get raised preflop it's an easy fold.
The decision as to whether to barrel must take into account what sort of players your opponents are and how likely they are to fold to a 2nd barrel. You make no reference to them at all.
If they are passive types and it's going to check through a lot then check and see if they give you a free card to hit your flush or overcards.
Worst case is you barrel and get raised you will probably have to fold and lose all your equity.
However you have good equity if called if you did decide to barrel.
I'd be tempted to barrel here because the backdoor flush is value town if you hit it and they are slow playing sets for example.

Since you 3bet with KQs in the SB( prefer to flat with this kind of hand and not get 4betted) you should bet bet shove. Your range is very strong and the opponents didn't show much strength. The flop is dry, you have all the AA/KK/QQ types hands and and opponent range didn't hit this flop( except sets). And don't forget that the turn is a perfect card to barrel and jam the river.
