Raise 3/4 to pot size on the pot.

If he's got anything on that board and calling for 21BB he wont be folding to 40BB

Shoving turn is natural

At this level you just need to get it in as fast as possible and he's only got 100BB...

So flop is 55BB ... your villains stacksize is roughly 1 to the size of the pot.. Anything under 3x the effect stack size is a shove.

........................

If your villain has anything left of his stack at the end ... you've lost value.

Shove turn man,

why shove turn when villain has alot of AK in his range? and also the only hand we beat at this point is KK cause all other high pairs have hit their set.

to me this looks like a fold on the river.

AQ/AJ/KQ/KJ/99/T9 etc etc etc. he 4bets JJ+ most of the time, we have 50% pot left. im not folding.

yea but, i dont think the hands you mention above are hands that flat 4bet's.

The way the hand went preflop, hero opens villain 3 bets, hero 4'bets and villain flats. So it seems less likely he has any of the above hands and more likely to have TT,JJ,QQ,KK and AK.

am i wrong?

i could be wrong cause its deep poker which im not too familiar with but with 100BB, thats usually the way things go IMO.

ok man. fair enough. by default though i dont like jamming turn here cause the Queen is one of the worst cards we wanna see and i dont see many worst hands paying us off if we assume it wasnt 2NL .

thanks for answering though.

Also it's hard for villain to have a flush at the end as well since we got the Ace blocker.

the T is out there as well.

The only combo KQ hmmm guess i wouldn't be shocked to see that be called preflop.

Only i'm dumb enough to call with KJs and shove flop :)

Ughhh. That was my reaction to that turn check. Ok here's something to bite at:
1) You gotta decide how you wanna be playing your opponents at these stakes. And I think the decision is pretty easy; which is Play Exploitatively. There is no reason to balance your bet sizing on the flop, so bet BIG on boards like these.

2)We're playing a 4bet pot vs a complete unknown IP. We're never folding when there's 50+BBs in the middle and we started 100BBs effective. So the thing is how to get the money in. With that sizing as played it looked like you were setting up a turn jamm but didn't follow thru. And that's not good. It doesn't matter what comes on the turn (it can be the Jokers of Spades or stars) we're not checking or folding. There's only one move.

As played OTR? Um idk man, you got urself in this spot by playing it weird so if u made a weird fold then I guess is fine cuz this hand was already messed up.

Yeah I botched this one up on the turn for sure, my plan was to jam the turn and I didn't follow through because I hated the Q and ended ended up in a shitty river situation.

Even though I hated the Q given stacks I should have followed through with my initial plan to shove the turn since given my hand AK would be less likely but I guess when thinking about the hands that flat my 4bet pre probably have me smashed at this point except KK.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

It's call. Pot 150.5 BB, u need to call 1/3 with 3rd hand. Let's call, he's bluffing with KQ or AJ.

At this level it's all about Top pairs and decent to top kickers + and getting the value in.

Always keep an eye out though because even at 2nl there will be regs trying to learn the game as well.. So pick your spots

Most probably the villain had high suited connector like AJ,based on his reraise pre, i would reraise shove and try to avoid confrontation.
