Got raised on the flop here and I was fairly lost. What do you do here? Re raise his raise, fold or call?

I'm calling, I'll call a not huge turn bet and probably fold to a river barrel.

JT gutshots, Kx and air could do this, I could fold outright to a nit but fish are just to likely to spaz out for me to fold with great odds on this flop.

More information would be great. Villain's table image?

I would call only here. I would suspect villain holds two pair, or strong draw. Or villain may be a maniac, and he is just putting pressure on you. Or the raise could be an attempt by the villain to get information on the strength of your hand, as he flopped middle pair.

Who knows without knowing the table dynamics.

My opinion and nothing more, as always.

I don't like re-raising unless villian is a bad lag capable of having KT or KJ. Probably call flop, call turn, and eval the river (I call because folding is no fun=).

Haha I think the above post (edit: post above the post above) is correct... because he covered every possible option!

Ditto for Deco.

That is what should be going through any thinking players head at the time of the decision at hand. It is sifting through all of that, listening to instincts, and making the right call/fold that makes all the difference.

Sorry I was thinking (out loud, sorta) of all scenarios possible. Up to the OP which one he feels is correct.

Edit: First think I think about is what can I beat. Next is what are they representing? Next, is the story they are selling believeable? etc. etc.

3bing flop is stupid since he will never call worse unless he's a complete mong, but you can't fold flop here either. Call the raise and the turn barrel provided he doesn't like pot it, and happily fold to any major heat OTR.

How much does it suck being oop

How many hands on villain? Do you Cbet regularly? Is a pot-size Cbet typical from you? Some questions to think about.

Given stats and assuming reasonable sample size (like at least 100 hands at the bare minimum) I'm somewhat inclined to fold because:

1. Kx hands we dominate are more likely in villain's calling range, not raising range.

2. Villain's aggression frequency makes it look like he's LAG/TAG pre but on the passive side in post flop play. Accordingly, raising a psb on the flop looks very strong from this guy.

3. We are 250bb deep and if this guy turns out to be clueless and raising with a dominated king in this spot he is probably going to end up barreling all streets with it and putting us in on the river with a less than pot size bet. If we are calling the flop with the assumption that dominated kings are in his range then I think we call all unimproved streets with it as well... and I don't like the prospect of playing for 250bb stacks with TPTK unless villain is a certified fish or I'm certain I have his range pegged.
