i didnt put vilians stats because that was his fourth hand at the table.

so at that point i made a 40% cb trying to find out if he had any of these 2 high cards.should i had made a bigger bet?

That cbet is getting called almost 100% of the time since it is so small. You are dealing with a BTN who limped.

Make it 0.10-0.15 and maybe he folds, if he doesn't fold flop then forget about it.

You need to have some kind of read on him to define sizing, nits fold easily here unless they have AK themselves (or A + nut FD) but anyone else only if you look strong and they don't have a FD.

What are you trying to make villain fold? He isn't folding an Ace/King or flush draw for that amount, the only hands he folds are pairs that we beat anyway.

Depends, if he called with some kind of Ace-rag suited or King-rag suited and he is nitty I think he might fold.

So without any information you are now assuming he is a nit and that he can fold second/top pair at 2nl?? Also his stack size suggests otherwise, he is most likely a fish.

All I know that on such boards I always got amazing numbers of folds in FR in 2NL... too many in fact to believe nobody ever had Axs and Kxs in hand.

Can't prove it obviously.
