Board is very wet and we have the possibility of hitting a flush on river and reevaluate, I check the turn. Easy fold to the raise even if he's loose. Limp calling range contains a lot jxs, qxs, kxs imo.

It is quite probable that he (CO) was with a straight

I would agree that you should've checked on the turn. Your opponent could've hit a flush or straight: there 9 heart cards left + 6 non-heart deuces/ sevens - 15/46 cards. Considering he is loose/aggressive him hitting flush/straight is a definite possibility as his range is likely to include weak aces and low level connectors, maybe one-gappers.

On the other hand your only chance to improve was hitting a flush on the river with 10 as your best card which can't guarantee that it would be the best flush.

Yes, you all are totally right, should have checked the turn....much better move and like you say, the only card that makes me stronger is 10h...

one of the many reasons i am a fish/donk/suck at poker is my desire to not look weak. this led to me trying to "bluff" and losing my dear money hehehehe

a check accomplishes more, thanks!!!
