MP ($5.51) calls
Hero SB ($2.79) call Ad 4d
BB checks

flop - Q83 all diamonds. voila!
the flop goes check check and the mp goes crazy and totally overbets the pot.
bets $0.32
And this point I'm pretty sure he has pocket A,K or Q's.
I flat. BB folds.

And I'm sure he smells something fishy as well.

Turn 4 spades

I check and he bets $1.18

This is where I think I made the mistake. I shove.

He folds.

I think I should just flat there and bet a small amount on the river for him to call or raise.

Agree or disagree? Btw it's a zoom game so no player info.

Reraise on the turn seems ok to me because if you dont force something on the turn, he'll probably check on the river because you called his raises twice. So you'd probably gain nothing.
Assuming hes got a set, you also give him outs to get a full house on the river. You definitely dont want to do that.
So reraise is fine, and shoving is the right call depending on stack and pot size.

Thoughts?

Also, if you don't get it in on the turn, and the river brings a 4th diamond, he might get a chance to get away from his hand. But the stacks you have behind are so small so he would probably call anyway. Getting full value from flush draws by shoving turn is probably best though.
Question is, could he triple barrel bluff, or would he shut down on the river? Because he can have both bluffs and value that chooses to overbet like this. So just calling turn and checking to him on the river lets him shove with his airball bluffs that we wouldn't get money from by shoving turn. And it also gets value from most of his value range, stuff like sets and two pair. Qx is often checking back river, so losing out on some value there.
Without any information check shoving turn is best I think.

I think you're both right. Shoving the turn seems like the right play. Besides, a bad river for a house or a 4 of kind(perhaps) would drive me insane.

But I think he'd triple barrel on the river if I just called. But the right play is shoving come to think of it I guess

On the flop, the one hand you are hoping he really has is the 2nd nut flush. But the problem here is that another diamond will kill your action. So when he bets the flop you have to reraise him there and then. With the second nuts he may even reraise you all in. By flat calling you are giving him a free card, because his money is already in the pot, which is never a good idea.
