$2 NLHE 6-max: Did me checking the turn (dangerous board)make him bluff the river?

So I pick up Aces UTG+1, 3x raise, maybe should of done 4x. The cutoff calls and SB calls.

Looking at the flop bet and two calls I had a feeling one was holding A,J or something like that maybe 9,Js was in the CO range he was quite loose, maybe backdoor flush draw. I'm sure now me checking the turn was a terrible mistake, or was it? Was the CO slowplaying a straight?

I really think I messed up the hand come turn time then they both checked and the river was bet I called then the cutoff shoved.. I'm guessing it was the correct thing to fold at this point but I dunno if I could of and should of done something better.

Just the way they both insta called every bet made me feel I was beat by either two pair or a straight, then the flush on the river I coulden't call, right?

Any advice on this hand would be great.

Ya, pretty shitty board. This is 2 pair+.

fwiw at 2nl you can make a lot more by raising your premiums 5x-7x. They'll call anyways.

With another player in the hand, this is never, ever a bluff in my experience.

are you calling with QT?

Good question.

Well, personally I probs dont show up here with QT very often and if I had QT I wouldnt have played it like this. I would be betting the turn so its kind of hard to answer that. Id probably puke fold unless I'd seen villain go crazy with TP before.

My point is that one pair hands are probs no good here anymore.

Definite fold, CO easily has J9/AJ stuff not to mention quite a bit of flushes, like QJss/Q9ss.

I think KQ is minimum calling range.

Thanks for the replies!

It's kind of good to know people think it was a fold as well. I remember the days when I just coulden't let go of Aces of Kings no matter what the board said lol.
