HERO??

Villain was 39/17 over 23 hands. I bet the turn big for value. Villain took a while to act on each street, including the river. After the hand I thought it through and figured it was an interesting hand to post. Thoughts?

We're beat by 3-5, 10-6, A-10, Ac-2c, Ac-4c, 2-2, 4-4, 10-10 (rare), 6-6, AA (super rare).

We beat missed FDS, some slow played overpairs like JJ-KK, 10-2, 2-4, 2-6, 6-4, and some combos like FD/SD.

I lean towards fold OTR. I think it's maybe 3-5, super slowplayed. He has a strong hand.

I don't know how we're beat, but I believe that we are. Bet sizing suggests he wants a call on the river. We could look V up here, but expect to be beat more than a fair share of times.

I don't have Poker stove on my phone, perhaps someone else can stove this.

I lean toward a fold but honestly I am a POW sometimes, so I might pay it off. It is a very interesting spot.

This was my thinking as well, which is why I didn't push the action. I don't see this player (pretty passive) check raising a turned top pair hand, a hand like A-2 or A-4, or even a combo flush draw (something like 78c.) Despite his stats I didn't get the feeling that this player was just playing any two cards, especially not two low cards, so I had doubts about 10-6 and 3-5 so I called. I failed to take into account the small pocket pairs, and he had 22. Good hand for me to learn from.

Depends on the opponent if you think it's a bluff call but sometimes fishy cash game player will over slow play a lot which means this could be a flopped set or 3-5 but also could be a stone bluff

I'd look him up here too probably but I bet it's pretty close in pokerstove. 3-1 on a call is pretty good for our 2p hand. In general we shouldn't lose too much sleep over these close ones because the situation is rare and the difference in call and fold isn't huge.

raising turn is best to win it there.

if he bets again or calls we are beat here often and get our answer. So just read the signs on the turn and get the cheaper price.

Lead on the river is strong and remember we play against people who are playing their cards not yours.

Ace is a brick ... both hands were already made on earlier streets. He just hopes Ace helped you and he gets paid. if i was villain i wouldve raised more and got more value from you
