Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 31/4/0.6

I know the overlimp PF is kind of "meh" but I was sitting at a table with two marks but three of the 6 players were 3-betting all the time so when the opporunity comes for a family pot with nice SC, I call and flop trips 8, sweet ! Now I want to A. Build a big pot for what I think is the best hand and B. Protect my hand from the straight draws. BB lead and I raise him, he calls, might be on an overpair or maybe a straight draw and don't want to let go (Could be against a full here but I can't be afraid of monsters all the time). On the river, the pot is larger than villain's stack so I shove.

What do you think about this hand ? Did I overplay trips or was it a good line ?

Also, since BB didn't pay anything to be in the pot, I can't really range him preflop so it's difficult to range him postflop.

Thanks

result orientated?

Not really, I don't really care about result but since it wasn't like if I flopped a set and that the session wasn't going very well for me (this was one of the last hands, I thought maybe I overplayed the trips since my mindset wasn't perfect and maybe a bit "tilty" but anyway, thanks to clear my mind.
