This hand was troublesome for me (In more ways than 1)...The villain in the hand, I've ran into him/her on a couple of tables already (I can't really give you anysort of stats (Since I can't seem to get HM1 up and running on it+I can't give you any sort of inclination about this player (Because I really had no reads on him/her other than they don't really bluff at all, and is a very good player because I've tangled with him on more then 1 time (Even though I've won those hands, that's not the point, point of it is that he's always limped with good hands pre/raised decent to strong hands pre, I just happened to catch up or suckout:eek: )...

So my question for the hand is what does he have to do this with? What's our best plan of action here? Should we just fold? Should Jam and hope:eek: , It's these types of spots that kill me because I really have no clue as to what is the best line to take in future instances should a similar thing occur...

TY all for your input

I raise more pre. Say 36c.

I'm shipping this flop. I'm not folding to a fishes minraise when I hold an overpair on a 5 STP pot. A fishes minraise here could mean anything from monsters to pair+draws or even worse value such as AQ/KQ.

Ok then my question is why are we raising more pre? (I understand to put more money in the middle, and thus make it easier to ship it), but by raising more pre don't we potentially risk only winning a small pot? Also why do you think he/she is a fish? Does the min RR indicate someone waiting us to do something stupid?

I thank you for your input just trying to figure out the rational behind it is all (Sry:eek: )...Let me put it like this, what in your mind gave away he's a fish? And why is it not possible for him/her to have a 2pair+ on that board?

1 more dumb question (What's STP stand for sry)

I think he's a fish because.
he's always limped with good hands pre
Good players do not do this.

STP stands for stack to pot ratio.
The effective stack are 2.70, the pot is 65c so the stack to pot ratio is around 4. (I did it quickly in my head to reach 5). The lower are stack to pot ratio is the more inclined we should be to get it in. If we had a stack to pot ratio of 30 I'd need an utter monster to get it in rather than a mere pair.

As for raising more pre I didn't realize he had opened, I thought he'd limped for some reason. Your raise size is fine.

STP? Get with it Deco, anybody who is anybody knows its SPR.

Oh and i bet 55 cents on the flop and i'm happy getting it all in when he raises, too many top pairs and pair and gut shots/draws here to fold.

id ship it...the only made hand they can realistically have is KT or a set. Hopefully you catch them draw-hunting.
if you let another card peel off you could certainly regret it...an ace, pair the board, etc
