I think you should have made your move on the turn. The BB clearly likes his hand and he is probably going to call a big 4bet. However, since the only river that would worry you is a diamond, just calling is ok, but if he IS on the diamond draw, you wont get any value on the river if he misses. ( I'm going to go out on a limb and say he had Ax of diamonds.)

Raise the flop. So many cards on the turn or river can put you behind or make your opponent scared of putting in more money. Slow playing this hand makes me want to strangle babies.

You should just 3-bet the turn and get it in. If he's CR you on the turn, and he's not willing to get it in here, what will change on the river? Only thing that could change is he gets scared off by a 4th card to a straight or diamond.

True I should've re-raised the flop ... probably would've got it in on the flop considering his hand was KJs diamonds.

Yeah and I prefer at least 3x the raise. Min raising makes it harder to get it all in on the turn IMO.

Result oriented: Unfortunate cooler.

Your folding to a min raise in position? that's crazy. Even if he has AA ... we hit two pair at least we know we will get paid most times.

I understand its a troublesome hand, and we often dominated but 4c isn't anything and IP isn't a bad thing, we can often get out if things go bad. Except when this board happens

Ok, well since he had KJ diamonds he obviously is not going to fold at any point after the flop. This was just one of those hands that are going to make you pay him off. I dont think there was much you could do to change to outcome here. After the flop, it is set in stone. neither of you are going anywhere.

Should we get aggressive in the flop given that someone is showing willingness to put money into the pot and out current nuts could be vulnerable?

John said it best.. Reason why we put money in is because worse hands will put money in, hence draws etc.

While other hands are so beautiful to call a jam and behind. It makes our reason justified to get it in.

Scare cards come out and won't matter how much money I put it, they will fold off... Ofc this guy had a flush but others who got 2 pair or TPTK, even sets . They will get scared off.
