Hi guys,
there is a simple question to this hand. Can i ever fold two pair here on the turn, if he bets pot size or i am comitted, cause the outcome of the turn is beside a straight and set nearly the best outcome which can ever happen? So either i would not raise on the button with 78o or i play this line till the river.
There was no information about my opponent to this time, cause it was the first hand on the table.
Thinking that he would only do this with a flush or a straight (its more likely he do this with a flush), i need for a call the odds for hitting my full house and paid off.
He has 85bb left and in pot are 24,5bb = 109,5bb and i have to call 12bb to get this. So i need 1:9.125 or 9,87% chance to hit it. To get my 4 outer i have only around 8.88% percent.
So there is one percent missing.
Is it correct to assume that he would give up sometimes at the river with a bluff so i can get this 1% in any way with that?
Is there some mistake in my thoughts? I am really new in the poker business and try to hit the mathematical side of the game from now on.
Thanks for your advice.
That is have to fold on the river is clear..
