This was my first 6 max game and I was doing quite well. During that game this hand happened. The guy was playing around 6+ tables and doing quite well, he had a big stack and I assumed he was bluffing (bad idea at micros but I've seen it happen )
Considering the stakes I am playing at how should I have played this hand ideally ? (and why )

Thank you, I should have been more scared of color and I did notice it but I refused to believe 8 8 8 could be cracked (arrogance I guess ) and refused to place him on a range despite the bet (assumed he had plenty of chips and was trying to bully )
Anyway, thank you, I hope this hand has taught me to avoid this in the future

Well you didn't bet on the flop and why should you, you have the whole board. The main thing he is going to be calling turn bets is flush draws, not always and your hand is so strong that you still need to bet for value, but most the time if you meet resistance it will be a PUKE backdoor flush draw.

Thank you so much for your time, I really appreciate it and am trying to get better despite my general bad play (and occasional tilt that goes with it )
What do you mean by PUKE ? (sorry, again, total noob )
Also by this you mean I played it sort of right except I wasn't careful enough ? (I just want to make sure I get everything right )

Didn't mean a lot by it, just it was a very bad card to see, especially after the action on the river. Very common word used here, sorry, just trying to help lol. Even if you call on the river I never consider this a big mistake. If this is the worst hand you can find in your hand history I guarantee you will be more then a winning player.

the worst hand was the next
After this hand I raged, liked bad and I got dealt KJ, that guy raised, everyone pretty much folded and I went all in, he called, he had AA, he basically destroyed me lol ( I have no excuse here, I just steamed big time and wanted to get him to fold that raise )

We all have those moments I would like to think. My best advice is to when you don't think you're playing 100% QUIT. I've gotten a lot better over time, but still have issues, but you can't lose if you don't play. You will be so irritated over every bad beat after and it will only enrage you further just DO THE SMART THING... Quit.

In retrospect that's exactly what I should have done and if I were a bit calmer maybe I would have (also the cards dealt were just...well they played right into helping me go all in )
Anywya, hopefully a few lessons like this (the hard kind ) and I will learn to control myself
Again, thank you for your help, I appreciate it

I'm sure it will take many more, just as long as you can recognize it will help. I don't know if your stubborn at all, I know I am and will disregard plenty until the evidence is overwhelming.... I'm glad to help, if you have any more hands feel free to post and I will offer my insight ;) You comment on your bad play, bro it looks like your just starting out, I would call this a VERY minor mistake and everyone will make it, takes thousands if not 100s of thousands of hands to realize and you still will. I'm a good player, but not a great player, my A game is pretty good, but to often I'm playing my B and C game.

Looking at your first thread ("complete nit...") and few hands you've posted so far I would say you have no preflop game whatsoever: limps, open-minraises, you probably also min 3bet or change your raise size depending on a hand strength etc (???). Take care of this first and then start to worry about postflop, ranges and stuff...

Raise pre. You need to be aggressive. No stupid aggressive but Tight Aggressive. This is the basic of basics that you need to learn.

Why just call his reraise on the river?

Its very remote he has the flush on that spot.
