3bet pre flop then on the turn I would check, there are 4 diamonds on the boards, straight is possible, generally you beat only a bluff at this point.

Anyway you should definitely 3bet flop, kings are second best hand and you want to get as much money before the flop as it possible, also this guy's raise was pretty high, so it's even better for you.

AA and KK you just raise raise raise and be happy to get it in.
TT to QQ and AK you try to figure out how funny your opponent is before you do that. And +1 what forfiter said.

Okay, you need to raise way more often. You have the second best starting hand, you should have 3bet preflop and raised to like $0.40 or something I think. As played, I we could have raised flop, we have a disguised overpair and we want values from queens and draws. We could also have raised turn, I mean he could have the ace of diamonds but its more likely he doesn't, and we have the second nut flush. I think you are too worried about monsters under the bed in this hand. I suspect you had the best hand at all points, and missed out on value.

I've concluded that yes (like everyone's said) my pre flop play wasn't aggressive enough at all.

My thinking at the flop was, I still have the highest pair and his bet was too low if he has a flush. There's a decent chance that another diamond will pop up (9 outs correct?) And Ill have a king high flush. Which is pretty hard to beat.

Turn happens (Td), I have a king high flush so I'll raise. He reraises. I can't figure out whathe might have (in retrospect I didn't figure out what he could have, just what he couldn't).

River- I think it's a card that doesnt change anything (again if he had pocket twos or even one I'm donezo).

Showdown - I have a king high flush- he has trip 9s.

I'm focusing on my pre flop play right now to avoid these situations on. Which according you my notes (and a tracker which I just got). I lose more often than not at showdown. Tips or materials that may help?

Hi. As other members mentioned already, you played this hand way too passively. 3bet preflop was necessary, and after that flop also.
Oh boy, I just remembered how I had to fold my KK after Ace on the flop today. :(
