HERO ???

I don't have any stats on my opponent since I don't use poker trackers. But I already played a few hands with him and he seemed to be a quite solid TAG player.
I really can't believe he goes crazy with a flush draw after I showed so much strength. JTs is realistic as well as 99 or maybe 22. There's only one combo of 77 and 88 left each though. He could have QQ or JJ t or some trapped AA or KK. But I don't think it makes alot of sense to shove JJ or QQ in his position here since I could easily have KK+.
I think I have to fold in this position but it's still quite difficult because it is just an amazing feeling to make a light 3bet preflop and then hit two pair. My hand is well disguised too.
Any thoughts ?

Hi. Given how much strength you showed to that point of the villain's shove it is probably less likely than normal that his shove is a bluff and more likely he's looking for a call. So it comes down to do you think he's a player that would shove an over-pair thinking he's ahead or possibly two suited overcards (with a flush draw)? Without much information other than you've slotted him as a solid player, I'd probably fold in this situation, though if it happens again I'd probably lean towards calling.

I think an argument can be made that AA, KK, QQ, TT, 99, 88, 77, 22, AKspades, and AQspades are all in a reasonable range for the villain given how the hand played out.

We're at the top of our range here, I don't see how we can get away from cramming here. Your range has a ton of hands that turn a draw that you barrel with.

At 2NL it often is what it looks like, board became dangerous on the turn, he raised his 99 probably. Unless you know more about him, the default is you are beat. It's unbalanced to fold I know, but turn raises are too often the nuts imo.

Thanks for the answers. I really struggled to find a solution in the heat of the moment and ended up calling after thinking for a while. I really wanted to fold but I thought I represent an overpair and usually have JJ+ in this situation. They always hit a set or two pair when you have an overpair.
As ch9h13no3 mentioned I'm almost at the top of my range here. That's why I felt obligated to call in the heat of the moment when I'm even stronger than what I actually represent (an overpair)

He showed 77.

Afterwards I think I should maybe just call with top two pair in this situation, so I atleast beat weaker two pairs.
In live games this always seems to be a much easier decision as people have not really balanced ranges in 2NLHE online. I kinda feel like 8/10 pros would snap call this against another not to nitty pro.
When we're playing with a balanced range I think we have to call this.

Being at the top of our range here really depends on our 3b strategy from the SB vs BTN. If we are 3b or folding then 87s really isn't the top of our range. Even if we are 3B and flatting some SB vs BTN we still have 22, 77, 88, 99, 98s, JTs for the top of our range. With that said calling off here is pretty meh but probably ok at 2NL when villains are prone to random spew. We really are just bluff catching here and 87s is a good candidate because of the sets/two pairs we block. With that said we can't give too exact of a read without knowing your image and villains stats.

Way to cherry pick part of a sentence of a paragraph to talk about. I said we are pretty much bluff catching, I never said to fold. I GII here but I'm not thrilled about it.
