Hi, stumbled on a sticky situation today at micro stakes.
HERO(LP) $5.88
Villain(EP) $4.81
Villain raises from $0.02 to $0.08
Hero was dealt
Villain's range is pretty tight, so I ought for just a call incase facing a troublesome reraise.
Hero calls
POT : $0.19
FLOP:
Villain bets $0.18
Hero reraises to $0.44
Villain calls. ( I was so confused here, if he had AA I think he would've reraised/ all in)
Pot: $1.07
TURN:
Villain checks.
Hero bets $0.77
Villain calls (??!!)
Pot: $2.61
RIVER:
Villain pushes all-in
After a few minutes of thinking I decided to give up on the Queens.
Villain is a strong aggressive, VERY tight player. I know for a fact he isn't doing this with air. I was putting him on either a high pair JJ KK AA, or maybe even TT and he made the set on flop. Or possibly even AKs and made the flush? (Very unlikely I think)
I think if the flush never came, I would be more inclined to call, but I didn't think my hand could beat much in his range.
What do you guys think?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks
