Hero on BTN with QQ UTG limps
Villain UTG+1 makes it 7c to go

folds to Hero on BTN, I 3bets to 24c
Folds around to Villain UTG+1 and he flats

Pot 53c

Flop is 6 10 9 rainbow

Villain Checks

Hero bets 35c

Villain Jams instantly

We tank, assume he doesnt have AA KK
Could have TT or 99 or he is jamming with JJ

I chat "nice set"
he saids "Straight"
but I dont think he calls pre with 78s (maybe its 2nl)

I fold assuming its a set. show QQ and he says he had QQ

Im trying to play tighter because usually im LAG who likes to call so that loses.

Is this a call?

both started with full stacks

Unless I have a really good read that the villan is a super nit, I am happily calling.

so I should be stacking off unless I know he is a nit because 2nl is full of idiots

Now I can think is he had A10s and called pre and I super nit folded.

I value betted another player with my set of queens to the river which brought the flush, he jams and I think im beat and I fold showing my hand and he shows me a missed straight.

This is my problem. people say "unless you have a read, be careful"
and now its "without a read, just stack off"
