$2 NLHE 6-max: Flopped Top Set, board runs out worse for Hero

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 33/21/3

1. hero wasnt sure if he should call or fold on the river
2. hero tanks, and uses villains VPIP as deciding factor.
3. a lot of hands won't be calling with a 6 in it, except for maybe A6s connected 6's etc.
4. villain shows that he may had top pair or was chasing a straight
5. so did i make the right fold here?

To small on the flop and turn id be looking more closer to pot on each street. And then you can check back the river on this run out,villain has plenty of 56 76 or 6x hands. So .10 flop .30 turn and check back river.You could even make an argument for bet folding the river for like 1/2p or around .50.
