Hey guys,
Continuing my bankroll challenge at 2NL and it's going really well. Beating it at 33BB/100 so far after 9,000 hands. Tiny sample I know but generally feeling good
This hand just happened and I actually made a mistake (too many tables) and I donked out on the flop with my set from the BB. But the way the hand panned out, I actually think it worked in my favour.

So logic is - If I check like normal, he cbets 2/3 pot or something similar and I re-raise - It looks really strong given the board is so dry.
when I donk out - He re-raises me and I can just call and deceptively conceal the strength of my hand while building the pot to enable me to get stacks in by the river, check/call on turn. He has no clue that I have him crushed, he might even re-raise my flop bet with nothing, out of frustration - I've done that before. Them idiots keep donking at me with bottom pair!
On the other hand, if he has nothing he's mostly just going to fold flop and we lose value from his likely cbet.
Just wondered how you guys play a set OOP in this kinda spot? And if I'm donking out with sets then should I be donking with FDs and gutshots to balance my range? It isn't something i've added to my game before, I play quite straightforward OOP, particularly at the micros.
