Why did you call preflop if you folded an A on flop? This is what you were waiting , but you still didn't call. You should have either folded preflop either called on flop.

im sorry, but i believe your logic is flawed here. I am not folding AQ pre in this situation. and if i call on the flop then basically i can only see i am going to have to call all in on the turn... so i folded..

Folding the flop looks OK, but I would have squeezed pre I think.

How has UTG been playing? If it was worth calling here, it was worth raising. That's what I'd say anyway.

You have 3 people acting before you and they all called his raise. I do not like playing AQ in a multiway pot. It becomes much less likely for your top pair to hold up. Which is why I say to raise it up. Preferably to the point where you narrow it down to either heads up or 2 other guys.

At this point though, I think UTG has A-x. He raised early position. Indicates strength. Folding flop was right. If you think the guy in the UTG will raise with a weak ace, raise him preflop. If you think he's only playing AK+ with a 3xbb raise preflop early position, then fold preflop.

i agree with your middle paragraph, cheers! however I don't have any reads as it was zoom and no hands previously played against villain.

You are deepstacked, so you could have tried a 3-bet preflop. Most of the times they are going to fold, and you will have iniciative. The ace in the flop is good. The only posibilities for the villian is to have a set, AK or a bluff (assuming he is a reasonable player). What calls my attention is that huge reraise he makes on the flop, I mean, if he had a really good hand, he would have wanted the rest of the players to stay in it, and maximize the value. It is a tough situation, since you don't have information on the player. The fold is easy, since you have just invested 3 bb but it is ok the fold, because it is better to run away from these situations, rather than not knowing where you are standing

its definitely an acceptable fold, especially with the re-raise. Your usually behind in spots like this.(better ACES or sets.). well played.
