I think pre-flop and the flop are pretty straight forward to play here in position, we clearly have the best hand a most of the time and need to go for value?

When the Q hits the board however we are not too happy I suppose when any Qx hand beats us and T9 got the straight. So I think betting out large on the turn was a very big mistake since we have to fold to any raise. Assuming we check the turn and a blank comes on the river, what's our plan? Just check/fold to any bet?

Villans value hands are 9 10 or 8x hand maybe a turned or flopped boat. I think an 8x hand would raise this flop with a flush draw on board. He shouldn't really be raising any one pair Qx hands apart from maybe Q10 or Q9 that's turned top pair with a gutshot. AQ would of raised pre
His main bluffs contain an 9 or 10 and he could be making a move with these hands. I would of checked the turn and reevaluate river on blank rivers. I think if he turned the straight he would possibly lead out not wanting to see it checked through giving flush draws free chance to hit

I think I would fold here. But generally when a scare card hits the flop and opponent checks to me I would check too.

i will just check turn and analyze river

by betting on the turn you turned your hand into a bluff

let's just get this hand into showdown as cheap as possible

We are folding OTT depending on who we are playing with. Before betting you gotta have a plan for what is coming next, otherwise the game becomes blurry and non-sense.

Preflop
Standard open

Flop
In the course "become a winning poker player in 30 days" Collin Moshman talk about hand planning, and using the concept from the course this is probably a two street hand, since the board is paired, so in a sense we only have second pair against two opponents. With that being said I would definitely C-bet the flop for value and to keep the betting lead. We can get value from worse JX, 99-TT and draws. Given its 2NL also from god knows, what else these goofballs will call us with.

Turn
As you say, this was not the best card, since some of their draws now got there. T9 made its straight, and there are also hands like some gutshots or QcXc, which hit top pair. So your hand definitely shifted closer to showdown value now.

River
Lets assume, we checked back and a blank like an offsuit 2 hits on the river. Then I am definitely bluff catching against his missed draws, if his sizing is reasonable. If he check, then I bet for thin value trying to get called by hands like a worse J, TT-99 etc. If the river is another bad card like a K, T, 9 or club, then I probably fold to any significant bet from him.
