Youre shortstacked. might as well have shoved pre-flop

you should always try to play with a full stack.
if you had a deeper stack, i think a 3bet preflop would be okay, but with your stack size i think its a shove.

as played, you should bet bigger on the flop. half pot is not enough. you need 2/3 to full pot bet in order to give any flush draws and straight draws the wrong odds to continue. (i guessing UTG had a flush draw.) should bet .14 to .21 here

if villain calls your bigger bet on the flop, then you should be worried that he has a made hand and can check/fold

my review is probably biased though.

results are irrelevent in poker, only the correct play is relevent because if you play correctly you will win long term no matter what the short term results are. if you play incorrectly you may see good short term results but will lose long term. so dont post your results when posting a hand. it doesnt help anyone to decide if you played it right and only serves to make our review biased based on the results.

Thanks for the reply. I am playing shortstacked because i'm trying to build a bankroll from freerolls and didn't want to take a big risk because i'm not rolled for this limit yet. And the next time i will hide the results :)

I would recommend to keep playing freerolls until you have 10 buy ins at the very minimum but 20 buyins is more ideal. dont be in too much of a hurry.

you could try using sss(short stack strategy) or mss (mid stack strategy) to increase your number of buyins by buying in short, but its a very specific strategy and you have to really follow it.

check out this link for more information on sss and mss.

This is fine, but shortstacking doesn't reduce your variance much. The big blind size is mostly what determines how big the pot gets.

3-bet preflop, and the rest of the hand looks fine.
