Hello, I started playing poker two months ago and this is the first hand I post in the forum. Apparently I've been losing a lot of money making river calls and this is the kind of spot I struggle with. Any considerations would be highly appreciated.

Flop raise far to small, I like 24-26bb then easy jam on the turn thats more comfortable to call for villain.

Yeah, flop raise sizing was a mistake... The way it was played, river call is ok? Should I ever lead in spots like this? Consider check/folding?

If we raise 24-26BB on the flop? What other hands are we raising with in this spot?

min raise doesn't make any sense to me - i'd make it about 20bb-24bb.
as played i probably wouldn't find the fold button either...

what did he have?

I'm assuming you are referring to balancing here and I understand what you are saying, however this is NL2. Balancing ranges really isn't an applicable concept here imo (certainly good to becoming aware of it here and understanding its application don't get me wrong) or atleast should not be a major concern. Getting value from your monsters is. At these stakes very few opponents are folding FD's, TP or OP here and even some SD's are calling, all of which we have a significant equity edge over.

However, my range here would consist of draws some, over pairs some, sets often and occassionally Top pair/2pair and sizing could maybe be smaller to look like we could lay our hand down but that leaves us with an awkward stack to pot ratio on the turn.

As said though, at 2NL we are looking to get as much money in the pot here as fast as possible so 24-26bb and shove turn i feel is the optimal play in this spot.

This is just my opinion however and I may be wrong here, just passing along what worked for me....

Preflop Squezze.
This spot:
Raise Flop cb X 4~5, Push Turn .
This level dont need balancing....
I suggest U play according to opponents aggression, Value bet & fold vs aggression.
