Basic line is to Bet / Fold OTR This line is even easier now because on blind plays people call much wider than normally. And because BB is short that would mean getting him AI, but I would advise against shoving because for some that is the ultimate value line. Villain is not unknown, he has half stack, likelihood he is fish is high enough to categorize him as a one. He will beat you surprisingly often =) well at least it feels so...

I don't like the min raise, I'd make it 5c preflop.
He only has 75c behind which makes it a little awkward, do you have any clue at all if he likes playing suited cards and chases flushes? These are the subtle little pieces of info that help our decisions.
He could just as easily have 9x here as a flush the way the betting went.
If he made the flush most players at this level can't wait to get their money in and normally shove the river so Id lean towards 9x. So therefore I'd probably bet 30c here trying to get a call from 9x and if he shoves you know its the flush and can try to fold but probably can't because he's fishy and shoving K9 as well.

I agree I would always pre flop raise to 3bb. This gets some of the weaker hands to fold and increases your chance of stealing blinds, which is what you would want with hands like t8o.

Agree with other posters, 3bet pre-flop. The villain has checked before you on the river and if you feel there is a chance that he may have made his flush draw, you could just check without risking anymore money to see what they had?

when one bets, one should always be thinking about what one is trying to achieve with the bet. I agree with the other posters here about betting 3 or 3.5 x bb pre...reducing calling odds from the blinds....min betting prices in atc from the bb.

on the river, bb might be trying to trap, as you have bet every street, and they might assume that you will auto bet the river, and if they have made their flush they could reraise and leave you in a pickle. Would you fold to a check-shove?

what hands would call you if you bet the river? That is your main question to ask. How would you range your opponent here considering their line pre flop and on subsequent streets?

10 10 - AA ( or any pocket pair) should have probably reraised you preflop 5 handed...as should AK-A10, or indeed any 2 ( sooted) broadway cards if they are half decent, as your min bet on the button showed weakness.

You see, with the min bet pre, you got NO info at all regarding oppo's hand.

I would not range them on 22 77 or 99 as they SHOULD have led out, or at least raised you on the flop to protect their set against against draws on a wettish board.

Ax ( sooted) is certainly in their range...as are any 2 ( sooted) cards for that matter.

NO player worth their salt would call your river bet unless they had the flush...they might call you with a set ( though this hand is unlikely condidering their line, and the stakes)...or even 2 pair( K7etc maybe) if they are a fish.

I would just check and see their hand...get your info...make notes and use the info next time round.

with the heart on the river, your hand lost some value imo.
